Controlled preparations

How you saw the patient

Before you sign anything controlled, Fratera asks one question and records your answer against that order. Two buttons. No free text to write.

Why the video route has a date on it

Video visits for controlled preparations rely on a federal allowance that currently runs to 31 December 2026. If it is not extended, Fratera stops accepting video-based controlled orders on 1 January 2027. In-person orders carry on as normal.

What happens on 1 January 2027 If nothing changes, the video button disappears for controlled preparations and Fratera declines those orders with a plain message. In-person prescribing is untouched. Nothing already signed is affected.
You will be told well before then Not on the morning it happens.
